- about the artist: Moriz Jung (1885-1915)
Austrian graphic artist who studied from 1901 to 1908 at the Vienna School of Applied Arts under Carl Otto Czeschka, Bertold Löffler, Felician Myrbach and Alfred Roller. As early as 1906 he showed his strong illustrative talent in a series of colour woodcuts with animal pictures, and in a poster drawn in 1907 and the programme book for the cabaret "Fledermaus" he showed a strange and bizarre humour.
