Inspired by the delicate fronds of an unfurling fern leaf, Fern by Sebastian Herkner is an imposing, yet cosy collection with a design language that harks back to nature. Combining Gloster’s signature plantation teak with a soft finish outdoor rope, the enveloping, woven back rest both protects and provides the comfort and is attached to a typically Scandinavian style teak frame, which mirrors its contours and underlines the comfort aspects. Two heights of backrests on the lounge items give the Fern collection two distinct characters - a sumptuous, low form or a more intimate and enveloping high back version reminiscent of the classic 'wing-back' chairs of old.
