Rockefeller Dining Room | Haus Konstruktiv | Zurich | Switzerland

from Girsberger

Product description

For Fritz Glarner's Rockefeller Dining Room at Museum Haus Konstruktiv, Alfredo Häberli designed special furniture comprising a table, twenty wire chairs and a matching LED ceiling light made from steel sections. Girsberger then developed and manufactured the items on the basis of the designer's specifications. Prototypes were used to calculate the precise bend radii and ergonomic proportions of the chairs. For the 4.8 m-long table, a special screw fitting had to be developed to attach the clear-glass plates to the frame.
