LEO’s appeal lies in the chair’s well-balanced proportions and in the high level of comfort it provides. It can be used either as a dining room chair or professionally in sophisticated office surroundings.
Buetzberg, October 2010. – The Swiss furniture manufacturer complements its range with LEO, a modern chair made of round metal tubing. LEO does not need to be in the spotlight. The chair’s well- balanced proportions and high level of comfort are best seen when it is placed besides a table.
The discreet design is the work of Stefan Westmeyer, who has designed furniture for Girsberger’s HOME sector since 2006. In LEO’s case, Westmeyer covered the tube frame with stretched mesh instead of using a wooden shell. The combination of mesh and foam padding is surprisingly comfortable and gives the chair its slim silhouette.
LEO is available with or without armrests and in two sizes. The frame is made of nickel chromium steel or chromed steel. The seat, backrest and, optionally, the armrests are covered according to the customer’s wish in leather or fabric from the Girsberger collection.
Besides its use as a dining room chair, LEO can also be used professionally in sophisticated office surroundings. All the more so, because the chair is stackable – this, however, can only be seen upon closer examination. – LEO is immediately available.
