Concept
Scaleno introduces a sign with a strong personality: the coffee table designed by Giancarlo Bosio with the Giorgetti Research Centre is a monolithic element that takes shape from the dialogue between different materials interpreted by the combination of three scalene trapezoids. Ash, marble and leather meet in a play of asymmetries, simultaneously defining the function and decorative component of the object. The optical effect is unexpected and its imposing volume is lightened in the compartments on all four sides. A story about research into materials, the relationship between aesthetics and function and the play of geometries.
