The special mechanism allows the lateral exit of the stylised walnut bird. The classic sound that marks time is managed by a photocell that excludes it in the dark hours.

It is possible to select silent mode.

A battery powers the clock. The leather plus cover reveals a complex craftsmanship: the leather must be wetted several times to make it perfectly adhere to the wooden shell without any wrinkles. Craftsmanship and innovation meet: since the bird is slightly bigger and heavier and it comes out on one side, the research for a way to make the mechanism work perfectly led to the design of a longer and more durable mechanical arm.
