Concept

OPERA is a light and comfortable armchair for the environment requiring the little extra.
Designed by Peter Celsing 1958 for the Restaurant Operakällaren in Stockholm. Ever since the chair has furnished interiors all around the world and is today one of the most appreciated Gemla-classics.

OPERA is made in solid bent beech from European certified forestry.
Seat and back upholstered in hairlok and wool.
Even though OPERA originally was designed for an exclusive restaurant it is just as suitable for the boardroom or private home.

Despite its lightness OPERA is a most durable armchair, made to last for generations.

OPERA is offered in various color combinations, dressed in vegetable tanned leather or textile.
