Formally, Marcel Breuer translated his design for B 9 to the long, elegant side table B 10. Cold-bent tubular steel enabled such a construction and provided the required stability. This principle was then translated to the chair design, resulting in the chair without back legs, the cantilever chair. Tubular steel furniture is considered a milestone in history.
