Homogeneous light with modular LED lighting solutions from GALAXY® profiles
Intelligent product design and unique product compatibility are the basis for future-oriented LED lighting concepts. LED profile systems from GALAXY® profiles are modular LED lighting solutions. The individual system components can be put together with little effort, simply and quickly using a click-connect system and mounted in an object-friendly way. The PN8 LED CONSTRUCTION profile is supplied as standard with 200 cm length and also in the colours black and white, is made of high quality aluminium (anodized) and can be used both as INSTALLATION and CONSTRUCTION profile and as a stand-alone linear lighting system (designed in conjunction with the PL10 cable lock or the PL10.1 mounting profile - with and without wire suspension). With the flat standard profile cover made of shatterproof and flame-retardant polycarbonate (UL94 V-2 classification - opal / satin finish - 65% translucency), the ALU profile is completely covered on the top side. LED flexbands with a max. width of 16 mm can be glued in. Covers also available in 6 m! When using the innovative H2O cover (also made of polycarbonate and opal / satin), in which the aluminium cooling strip PN33 is used as a support for the LED flexband, the max. width for LED strips is 13 mm. The H2O end caps are made of silicone and are placed laterally like a plug in the profile. This prevents the penetration of moisture and water. The H2O end caps with cable entry must be sealed with silicone.
Important NOTE:
Use in wet areas or outdoors is only possible in sealed form. Special protection against moisture and water is provided by silicone, which is applied to the joints for sealing purposes. Absolute watertightness is achieved with the LED profile systems by casting with Wepuran casting resin based on polyurethane resin (PUR). When selecting the LED Flexband, make sure that the protection class specified by the manufacturer (at least IP65) is maintained.

For excellent adhesion of the self-adhesive LED strips, we recommend thorough cleaning and degreasing of the profile inside with a cleaner - see accessories.
Assembly and custom-made production (OEM)
From a minimum purchase quantity onwards, the LED profiles and plastic covers from our standard range are custom-assembled or custom-made to customer-specific length specifications up to max. 6 m total length per LED profile system. Upon request, LED aluminium profiles by GALAXY® profiles can be produced in all RAL colours (powder coating).
