Campi di Gravità is an evolution of Kama, G.T.DESIGN’s revolutionary rug that captures the light and lets it fluctuate on its weave. The first rug to use a luxurious and wild hand-woven viscose, the groundbreaking design features the highest quality of the reflective fiber to create a thick yarn with a unique brilliance, softness, and color depth. The dope-dyed yarn is hand weaved on traditional looms and cut it through an irregular technique.
Campi di Gravità is the result of Deanna Comellini’s exploration of the evocative power of color and materials. G.T.DESIGN’s Founder and Creative Director focused on our emotional links to primary colors, playing with their contrasts in her abstract designs. Cerulean blue is pared with an earthy brown like a serene sky over a nocturnal landscape, while a fiery red runs like hot lava through the violet and brown soil-like backdrop.
