Fedra is a collection of sofas and armchairs with a young and dynamic character, in which geometrically shaped elements make up an original play of soft volumes, following an unconventional rhythm of full and empty spaces to furnish with taste and adapt to the needs of the moment.
The rationality of the forms is contrasted by a great compositional freedom, which offers design ideas of absolute originality. The Fedra seating system is aimed at a young audience and allows you to create soft and welcoming islands of well-being and comfort, in which to live your time enjoying absolute relaxation.
The versatile feature of Fedra is the particular backrest that can be mounted on both sides of the seat. Starting from a simple concept of aggregation of the various elements composing the system, the most different configurations can be obtained, also thanks to the use of the curved corner modules.
The architectural concept of the Fedra system of sofas, armchairs and benches is also underlined by the design of the base: a painted steel tubular, light and discreet, but at the same time solid and robust, which, thanks to its clear and decisive geometric lines, gives a uniquely beautiful character to the sofa. The vertical elements, armrests or backrests are placed so as to create classic or unconventional situations.
The system consists of single armchair, two or three-seater sofa or modular system of benches, armchairs and sofas, designed for the office, home, waiting rooms. The use of single backrests and armrests that can be combined with the benches, allows the customization of the modules and the creation of different combinations.
The internal structure is in plywood; the padding of the seat, backrest and armrests is in flexible, non-deformable polyurethane. A sheet of memory foam is added to the seat padding to increase comfort. The base is in tubular steel, painted with white or black epoxy powder paint. The 3-seater version of both the bench and the sofa is equipped with a central leg.
