Table lights from Flos, Designed by Achille Castiglioni, Pier Giacomo Castiglioni

Product description

Table lamp providing indirect and reflected light. Reflector in painted aluminium, gloss white on the outside and matt white on the inside. Directionable diffuser in transparent mouth-blown glass. Body in matt black. silver anodized or bronze anodized aluminium. Base in nickel-plated metal. Electric cable of useful length 220 cm, with dimmer switch for ON/OFF and adjustment of the light flow between 10-100%. Plug-in power supply with interchangeable plugs.

The original 1958 design of Taccia was made of transparent plastic – an idea discarded since the heat of the light source deformed it. In 1962 Taccia was produced by Flos with its famous blown glass bowl. Thanks to the LED source, it is now finally possible to edit Taccia in a new version that is faithful to the original concept.
Now also available in a ‘mini’ version, with new colours and glass diffusor.
