A TS System fire barrier can be incorporated between the foam and the upholstery on both the seat and backrest, preventing fire from reaching the foam and delaying the spreading of flames and emission of toxic gases. The backrest padding is ergonomically contoured, with vertical and horizontal grooves at the top of the backrest. The seat padding has a smooth and ergonomic form, without any grooves, in order to prevent the accumulation of dirt. The polypropylene shells used on the back of the seat and backrest are fully washable, thereby preventing scratches or dirt from appearing on the rear upholstery surfaces.
The seat is always fixed in the open position. Optionally, part of the backrest can be upholstered. The backrest reclines up to 15º, according to the user’s wishes, by using a button incorporated in the armrest. The backrest moves smoothly with barely any effort. When the seat is vacated it moves back to its original position by means of an immediate-return system. This system ensures that the room always maintains an orderly appearance. The mechanism is completely silent and maintenance-free.
The seat is mounted on a central pedestal and supported by an internal union bridge which connects the different seats and ensures completely rigid and stable rows. The pedestal has a tubular steel structure and is finished in polyester paint. It is secured to the floor by means of expansion plugs. The seat adapts to the specific slope of the room through the base of the pedestal. Rows are formed by means of interconnected backrests ensuring rigid and stable row formation, reinforcing the attachment to the floor.
The armrests are made of blow-moulded plastic and are always upholstered. They incorporate a compact, built-in cup holder made from a single piece.
The backrest can also be made in the HR finish. This type of backrest is characterized by having an integrated headrest. The clear ergonomic advantage of this type of headrest is that it takes the form of a natural prolongation of the backrest.
