Concept

The modular ISLERO bench is a monolithic item with several possible combinations that allow it to spread out indefinitely. Its integration into the landscape can generate new usable ground. Its granite grey cast stone presentation can be varied with any shade of concrete, either dark or light. It includes an exclusive innovative Escofet system which reflects natural sunlight and artificial light in a surprising, dynamic way when perused by a gaze. Its geometry accentuates its lightness and makes its matter levitate, transmitting the sensation that it has mass but not gravity. The heavy weight of this product allows it to be installed on the ground without requiring anchorage, resting in silence as an integral part of its surroundings. Its ergonomics facilitate different body positions, leisure activities and even work. ISLERO is a landscape element designed for use in isolation, although it can grow when installed in series, following the logical or random order permitted by its possible combinations. It was designed in 2008 by architect Eduardo Arroyo in conjunction with Escofet.
