Concept
Kai Stania created a very contemporary and universal-purpose recliner chair with a light shape. The cushions look as if they are lying loosely on top of the frame of the chair, which gives an impression of comfort. The cushions and the frame have a unique pointed “pillow stitch seam” finish on the sides to accentuate the slim design. The open armrests keep the design light and elegant. As with all recliner chairs in Durlet’s range, this chair is available as a low or high model, on a metal star-shaped base or a (leather-clad) solid wooden disc base, and with a synchronous reclining system or a three-step reclining system for television watching.
