Concept

RINK enters the realm of sports, focusing its attention on the light itself.
The expressive luminaire makes unusual use of a wooden gymnastic ring. This ring is not, as could be expected, hung from the ceiling. Instead, it stands on a table, shelf or sideboard. Like a halo, it surrounds the light source, which rests like a candle in a black stained frame holder. The impulse to reach out grasp it is a deliberately staged moment, inviting you to take RINK up and place it somewhere else. The luminaire looks especially good with a mirrored bowl lamp or a small globe lamp.
