The inspiration for Gisario comes from a wish to challenge the idea that a wall lamp must be something static. The designer has drawn inspiration from the eyelid to create a wall lamp with a movable shade. The lamp shade – covering the light source - can be tilted up or down to direct the light, while at the same time eliminating glare. The soft shape of the lamp shade reflects the light, creating decorative and artistic effects on the wall.

The Gisario is made from steel and is available in a matte white, matte black or satin chrome finish. Like all Darø wall lamps, the Gisario is very versatile in installation allowing for external as well as internal cabling directly into the wall.

Gisario is ideal as lighting for hall ways, stairways, living rooms, dining rooms or even as a decorative lighting element in a ballroom.
