“ We wanted to highlight the beauty of the concrete by experimenting with undulating surfaces that create light and shadow variations on each panel. By tracing the movement of elements of nature-wind, water and earth, we were able to extrude a visual and tactile depth to the concrete while retaining the lightweight application made possible by Panbeton®’s technology. The Shui panel, Chinese for “water,” was inspired by the waves of a shallow stream, creating surfaces that capture the gradation of shadows. ” - Neri&Hu
