Tenues 2301 SE

Chairs from Cizeta, Designed by Luca De Bona, Dario De Meo

Product description

Chair in beech wood with upholstered seat and back

Concept

The concept of the Tenues family originates in the desire to create an elegant, comfortable seating collection, imagining how a 20th-century master would interpret furnishings for a present-day hotel or restaurant. Attention to the comfort of the upholstery, the warmth of the wood, the colour combinations and citations of the style of the fifties all blend into Renaissance geometric patterns. The vague architectural references seen in the rigorous straight lines and golden ratio become clearer in in the backrest of each chair, comprising large and small arches resembling a section of a Palladian portico or the mullioned windows of Venice.
