The plain fabric SONORA, woven with a polyester and linen warp and a polyamide chenille yarn in the weft, creates a surface that is both velvety soft and extremely durable. Unlike velvet, the round, fluffy yarn has no direction but still has the same pleasant velvet like feel. The clearly visible warp yarns give the fabric its modern, dry character, and contemporary look. It can be used as an extremely heavy-duty upholstery fabric or as a heavy decorative material. As linen is a natural fibre, slubs are a property of the material and give the fabric its unique appearance. They can appear as fine lines on the fabric. This is the nature of the product and is not a reason for complaint. We recommend firm upholstery for SONORA.
