Product description

Concept

Hexagon is a modular system composed of two irregular hexagons supporting each other, which allows for the creation of endless compositions for every need. It can be used as coffee table, side table or stool, both indoor and outdoor. It is available in Lecce stone or okoumè wood. The latter, also known as Gaboon, is native of tropical West Africa, hence it withstands humidity and light rain. The Lecce stone is a limestone typical of the Salento region in South-East Italy, superbly suited to withstand severe weather conditions.

Hollow modules made from Lecce stone or okumé plywood. The Lecce stone is a limestone from the region of Salento (in south-east Italy) able to withstand extreme weather conditions. Okumé, also known as gaboon, is a wood from tropical West Africa, resistant to humidity and light rain. The stools with natural okumé finish have a sprayed-on transparent water and acrylic and polyurethane resin based protective outdoor coating. The white okumé stools have a white mono-component water-based outdoor coating. Outdoor coatings contain:
preservatives that protect against mould and mildew
UV filters and pigments that protect the wood and prevent yellowing and vitrification of the layer of coating.
