Concept

The Alfier Collection uses panels of glass rods of different colours that have been fused over a gold or platinum ground, and then slumped. The curved shapes that result are offset to create changing views, and a glimpse inside of how the metals have reacted to the heat of the furnace. The shades are duppion silk (available in 160 colours), lined with satin.
