Its extremely flexible composition suits all kinds of needs: Socrate is a shelving system, a storage unit, and both, combined into a single unit in a number of dimensions, heights and depths.
Absolutely versatile and featuring utmost formal purity, Socrate adapts seamlessly to the living room or kitchen, the office space or contract, making a strong visual statement in any room.

In the white version, Socrate is made in solid steel, with double thick micro-perforated shelves folded for added strength on the front and rear edges. The storage units are coated with a special epoxy-polyester coating that lends a matt scratch-resistant yet perfectly smooth finish that repels dirt.

Micro-perforated sheet metal is what characterises the Socrate line and lends the product superior aesthetic and mechanical properties. Micro-perforated shelves ensure the perfect amount of ventilation to the printed material such as books and filed magazines and make it easier to see and remove settled dust.
The sides edge of the metal shelves are folded in order to be able to fit directly onto the horizontal rods of the uprights without requiring other means of support : this makes it easy to assemble and change the position of the shelves, plus adds safety and stability.
