Plato | Wood sidetable
Architonic ID: 1105115
SKU: jm203
Year of Launch: 2006
Plato is a stool, a sidetable and a stackable container. It’s an iconic piece designed by Jeff Miller who chose the most classical of materials to carve a modern plastic form. It is as much about the negative space, the material that is missing, and the effort required to extract it, as the resulting material left visible, tangible and useful. Functionally, there are two surfaces of useful proportion to both contain and serve. Solid natural (nt) or moka oak wood (mk) sidetable, with bottom surface made of natural black wool felt. Plato can also be used as a stool or a stackable container. Dimension 42 x 30 x h 40 cm
