Alfa Centauro is the closest star system to Earth. Considered since ancient times as a single star. In fact, it is a binary star, that is two stars orbiting around a common center. Our particular Alfa Centauro tries to simulate the effect of stellar splitting with a flashes overlapping, but with an only one apparent center, symbolized by the circle."Made of 3 and 15 mm aluminum sheet. cut with high pressure water.
The pieces of 15 mm. they are joined by a (secret) “invisible” welding system that we have developed for these designs.
The upper part in the shape of an inverted pyramid is made with four small 3mm sheet metal pieces. curved and TIG welded and then hand-reworked.
(TIG: welding system that allows obtaining more resistant, more ductile and less sensitive to corrosion cords)
