Concept

Oblique is a series of minimalist tables designed by Claesson Koivisto Rune for the ASPLUND Collection. The series was born when the trio was to decorate a Norwegian hotel and needed a neat desk with minimal dimensions. It would feel like the lines were floating in the air. The diagonal shapes are recurring throughout the series and that is why it is called Oblique, which means slope in French.
