This natural birch side table uses a simplistic design to create a table that is modern yet timeless. The laminated birch legs are bent into a closed curved formation which is a departure from the classic L-shaped legs. The top and bottom shelf are made from molded plywood and show-off slightly turned up edges to keep items from haphazardly falling off the sides. Designed by Aalto in 1932, this design was original created for the Paimio Sanatorium.
