Cila

Chairs from Arper, Designed by Alberto Lievore, Jeannette Altherr

Product description

Concept

A simple gesture, a sensuous feel. The fluid form of Cila was inspired by the image of layers of cloth enveloping the body. Its silhouette of smooth lines retains a graphic character from its distinctive curve –– the most essential symbol of shelter. Like being protected, like being held.

The delicate silhouette of the Cila collection, designed for both residential and contract environments, makes it suitable for multiple applications: from hospitality spaces to the intimacy of the home, from meeting rooms to home offices. The polypropylene body, available in chair and small armchair versions for greater comfort and functionality, is combined with all the available bases in the collection: four legs, wooden legs, sled and trestle (with and without casters). The upholstered versions include seat cushion and body entirely upholstered in fabric, coated fabric or leather, which make the support given by the shape even more enveloping.
