The QIBLI table is a real ‘heating’ table. Thought up for outdoor use, QIBLI is the result of careful research into function and materials, designed to add practical comfort, above all in spring and autumn, to the pleasure of entertaining in the open air. Thanks to the newconcept heating system, a low CO2 emission gas burner is fitted to each of the two table bases. This spreads a pleasant warmth through the table top to the diners, only when necessary and at the flick of a switch, burning half the energy normally need for traditional ‘mushrooms’. The base, which contains the technical part, is covered in Corten, guaranteeing excellent resistance to the elements. The top in moulded concrete is a special mixture of moulded cement, the result of attentive studies to find the most suitable materials for resisting bad weather and the heat rising from below. The top has a soft welcoming design: in the centre, two dips corresponding to the two burners are useful for keeping food warm. The extremely thin table top lends it pleasing formal weightlessness. Finishes and colours chosen match the colours of earth, air and water: typical of an outdoor setting.
