Highrider
Architonic ID: 1223909
Year of Launch: 2013
The Highrider side table was developed with a customer. It was based on the Lowrider table, which we had previously developed. In this case, the customer needed a different height and wanted it to be narrower. Due to the height, we had to change the structural connection between the console and the table leg so that the side table would continue to stand securely.
The purist figure of the table stands almost like a sculpture by Alberto Giacometti. The sliding doors are made from one glued piece, reflecting the grain and creating a small wooden picture. Only at the end are two parts cut from a moulding for the sliding doors, so that the image continues when the doors are pushed together.
