Taking a new look at the domestic sofa from the Alias viewpoint. An authentic system consisting of an armchair, a two or three seat sofa and corner elements – as real chaise longue-,which may be combined in countless different configurations. The British duo Pearson Lloyd presents twelve, a system of upholstered elements whose generous proportions assure superior comfort and provide an ideal solution for residential interiors.

Suspended. The slender leg in die-cast aluminium varnished in various colours is the distinctive element of each piece of the twelve collection. These legs support a steel frame which in its turn sustains a wood panel housing the cushions of the seat, backrest and armrests. The resulting product is a system of upholstered elements whose aesthetic impact is extremely pared-down and essential.

Comfort is assured by well - designed cushions, soft yet firmly shaped, made from differentiated density polyurethane foam and covered with Kvadrat® fabric or Pelle Frau® Color System leather, available in a wide range of colours. Alias suggests various possible ways of coordinating frame finishes and upholstery, with contemporary solutions that further enhance this design project.
