“Karan is an architectonic program. The combination of volumes, planes and lines draw the item of furniture in space and it occupies it in a solid fashion, almost with robustness. But it is not a monumental proposal, on the contrary, the rhythm and contrast of shapes and almost obsessive care that we take with each detail mean that Karan is live furniture, close to us that appeals to our sensitivity and we end up feeling that it is our very own.”
