Broccato 2828 Laminate Print HPL

Composite panels from Abet Laminati, Designed by Paola Navone

Product description

Concept

Owing its name to the Jacquard weave, Paola Navone separates visually the drawing, coloured differently, from its background.

Paola Navone, born in Turin, has adopted Milan as her home: she is one of the most popular Italian designers. She graduated in Architecture at the Turin Politecnico and between the 1970 and 1980 she worked alongside Alessandro Mendini, Ettore Sottsass, Andrea Branzi in the Alchimia group, the most progressive set of the Italian design scene, developing a high productive and stimulating avant-garde stance. In 1979 she met ABET and its laminates and thus she became passionate about the art of decorating hard surfaces.
For her new series of serigraphies for ABET LAMINATI, Paola Navone has chosen the Longline finish, that suggests the visual perception and the tactile sensation of many parallel lines. The artist designed four new elegant décor for ABET LAMINATI: Broccato, Ivy, Fiore Pop and Neige.
The new serigraphies by Paola Navone seem to be the result of the mutual dialogue between the colours of the graphic signs and their background: thanks to ABET and the versatility of its laminates, this particular chromatic effect is to be seen and printed on every kind of surfaces.
