Studying in a fresh, colourful environment

The existing building of the University of Utrecht was completely renovated and redesigned by the Dutch architectural firm, EX INTERIORS. A wide range of our collection can be found in the atrium, cafeteria and lounges.

The strikingly fresh and compelling concept of colour and materials is set against the coolness of the building’s concrete structure, lending the rooms a greater level of comfort. Areas in the building were defined and set apart through colours: BLUE for areas for concentration, RED for areas for a lively exchange of ideas.

The ceiling light NOON 12 defines the centre of the atrium and creates a comfortable living area together with the group of MORPH LOUNGE cocktail chairs and APU side tables beneath it. NOON 2 hangs in rows over three E8 tables with chairs from the 1.3 collection in the cafeteria.
