A bespoke office front desk design for a healthcare environment
For the BCNC medical clinic in Brisbane, interior designer Louise Kollosche (Kodesigned) conceived the reception area as a calm spatial threshold, balancing openness with discretion. The bespoke Facet hanging partition by Bloomming plays a central role in shaping this first point of contact.

Positioned behind the reception desk, the installation spans the width of the space and subtly separates the public reception zone from the working areas beyond. Its geometric composition filters light and sightlines without fully enclosing the interior, creating a sense of order and privacy while maintaining visual continuity.
The refined rhythm of the facet geometry adds depth and texture to the otherwise minimal setting, transforming the divider into a defining architectural element rather than a purely functional screen. The result is a reception environment that feels composed, contemporary, and quietly expressive — well aligned with the clinic’s professional character.
