Characteristics and maintenance instructions
BIG IRONY products have intentionally not been painted because
it is the surface irregularity the characteristic which makes them so
special. The daily use will form stains forming a patina which renders
the surface even more beautiful. When delivered the surface BIG
IRONY has undergone a final treatment with beeswax. Please clean
it first with a dry rag in order to remove traces of oxydation and wax.
To clean it use a non aggressive/soft detergent as it would be wood.
Twice a year, we suggest to impregnate the surface with beeswax,
removing it after one night as described above. Available as alternative
epoxy painted version, copper black colour, sand-touch.
Concept
Modular wall shelf. Frame in bent sheet steel. Phosphatized black finish, final fixing with bees’ wax. Alternative version epoxy painted, rust colour. Shelves to be fitted into the panel (straight, with one or two folds) made of laser cut steel plate, 4 mm thick, epoxy painted aluminium colour.

Since 1980 he collaborates with several companies, including Giorgio Armani, Replay, Furla and Giglio Palermo for which he designs, plans and carries out fashion boutiques in Italy and abroad. For years he has been promoter of exhibitions and cultural events, giving new designers, artisans and young producers worldwide a chance to display their prototypes, to meet and to make themselves known.
