Concept
YUNA can be used as a picture frame or a mirror, depending on what’s needed. Designed by Studio Terhedebrügge, the solid wood frame has an open-pore, painted finish. It comes in three sizes, with a choice of a mirror or two types of glass sheet. The way it is hung creates a particular dynamic: YUNA can be used in landscape or portrait format, individually or as a set, and in monochrome or different colours. It also offers a charming detail: two of its sides are slightly wider and two somewhat narrower. The different thicknesses of side meet to form an L-shape, adding an unexpected touch. And when drawings and graphic art are framed slightly off-centre like this, it makes for the perfect surprise.
