WuduMate Non-Concussive Tap
The WuduMate Non-Concussive, push button operated, chromed brass tap is ideally used with the WuduMate Modular in mosques and commercial settings such as hospitals, schools, prisons and public toilets. This ablution appliance is for the purpose of performing wudu, the Muslim pre-prayer washing ritual, also known within some cultures as Abdest or wudhu. At 175mm long, the WuduMate Non-Concussive Tap is specifically designed to suit the dimensions of the WuduMate Modular, so that the spout is in the most comfortable position for wudu, and at the right angle to minimise splashing. This helps to keep the surrounding floor dry, thereby improving safety, but also prevents the user from being splashed with grey water, something which could invalidate the wudu cleansing ritual.
This is a self-closing tap, which means it turns itself off after a set period of time, thereby reducing water wastage. Its 3.7 litres per minute Neoperl aerator, with WRAS approved cartridge, both saves water and reduces splashing – key considerations for the purchaser and the end user.
This tap is also suitable for a traditional trough set-up in a mosque or Islamic centre ablution room, where it can be paired with the WuduMate Modular Seat Top and Pole, and several installed in a row.
