Concept
The White seating system is built upon the combination of perfectly balanced shapes. The base of the sofa can either be covered in fabric, leather or saddle- hide, with seat backs, seat cushions and tray-top surfaces layered on top in a captivating play of shapes and alternating positive and negative spaces. Very slender feet in Pewter color cast aluminum, based on an exclusive Minotti Studio design, allow the sofa to hover just above the floor. A unique advantage of the White sofa is that it incorporates useful tray-top surfaces in place of the armrest or along the sofa back to create conveniently func-tional compositions. The tray-tops come in Mud, Tobacco, Dark Brown or Black saddle-hide or glossy lacquer Sand or Granite finish.
Saddle-hide is a sophisticated, elegant and timeless material that lends a special appeal to any object. It is ideally suited to the White sofa, where it is used to cover the base and tray-tops – a touch of added value, and a clear expression of the most authentic Italian-made products. Skillfully executed stitching reflects the tradition of luxury leather craftsmanship and lends greater precision to the simplicity of its lines, emphasizing the architectural bones of this seating system.
