Wall Moon

The inspiration behind the Wall Rugs collection comes from a fascination and attraction to textures, patina, tactility, with balances and contrasts between smooth and rough, soft and hard, horizontal and vertical, light and shadow. The intricacy of how various surfaces age, old walls and buildings of different nature, is intuitively interpreted in the creation of these rugs: creating fragments of these aging surfaces and textures into free patterns of beautiful colours blending and fading, allowing the tactile walls to become soft floors.

All the names of the rugs relate to the same sensuous mechanisms and constant ow of memories— dune, moon, nude, tundra, midnight, gold—referring to esoteric values, a mood or a state of mind, rather than a specific colour.
