Concept
Designed in 1960, the Artifort Tulip Collection remains a true mid-century modern classic. A perfect blend of elegance, comfort, and innovation, these visually striking chairs are highly versatile and ergonomic. Inspired by the petals of a tulip, their sculptural forms gently embrace the sitter, providing exceptional support.
In terms of its dimensions, the midsize armchair Tulip Midi (at the time known as F549) is the perfect equilibrium between the Little Tulip® dining chair and the highback Tulip lounge chairs. Tulip Midi is inviting and warming at the same time. Tulip Midi is available with a cross base or a swiveling disc base.
As timeless today as when first conceived, the Artifort Tulip Collection continues to embody Pierre Paulin's signature approach to organic and functional design.
