Designed by Genevieve Bennett. Inspired by 17th Century Spanish embossed leather wall coverings, Arts and Crafts textiles and Japanese carved armor, the bold pattern of Tigerflower Embossed Tile, deeply embossed, responds beautifully to the effect of light and angle. The distinctive floral design is deeply tooled into a thick single layer of belting leather, creating texture in a space rather than overwhelming it with applied pattern. Genevieve Bennett is a visual designer based in London whose bespoke leatherwork is rooted in the tradition of the decorative arts and yet has a bold contemporary aesthetic of intelligence and creative beauty.
