The STEN ceiling lamp is now available in a different size. In addition to the one with a diameter of 54 cm,we are now offering a smaller variation with a diameter of 43 cm.
The conscious decision to construct it with a generous gap between the lamp and the ceiling makes STEN appear to float above the room and also provides reflected light from the ceiling. The simple design makes STEN suitable for a wide variety of interiors; it never steals the attention away from the space. A classic lives on!

Concept
STEN, the modern interpretation of a timeless classic. With its casual charm and beautiful lighting ambience, this stable tripod, available in oiled white oak or oiled walnut, sets new accents, both for residential and office spaces. The cylindrical screen appears to rest nearly weightlessly on the delicate wooden structure of the three tapered legs. A large selection of different lampshades gives the luminaire a different expression again and again. A nice feature is the pull switch in the shape of a long rod that comes with the lamp in both silver and red. The floor lamp is complemented by a matching table lamp, two ceiling lamps and a pendant lamp.

The wiege Entwicklungsgesellschaft mbH evolved from the design and development division at Wilkhahn, office furniture manufacturer. Today it is a design consultancy which operates on an international level. It not only works for Wilkhahn but also for other clients from various branches of industry and commerce. By founding the wiege Entwicklungsgesellschaft mbH, Fritz Hahne pursued an idea that was both simple and significant: on the one hand, the inhibition threshold for external designers to present their ideas to Wilkhahn was to be lowered. On the other hand, a wide field of activity outside furniture design should serve to widen horizons and give new impetus. Both became true. wiege competes productively with other designers with whom Wilkhahn works, and its field of activity includes clients from quite different branches and areas: ranging from exhibition management, home entertainment products, car manufacturers to public commissions, product design, exhibition platforms and interface design.
