Sol | Acoustic Office Luminaire

Sol, which stands for “sun” in Swedish, provides performance and atmospheric lighting and improves acoustics. It emits high-quality diffused light in both ways. Downward light is additionally spread by a micro prismatic diffuser, creating perfect working conditions. Upper light brightens up the room by filling it with a pleasant glow. Sol is made from ecoPET – synthetic felt panels manufactured from recycled PET bottles that solve the acoustic problems in interior spaces. ecoPET is non-flammable, durable, and easy to maintain, and at the same time, it is delicate and soft to the touch. It is created from recycled material and is possible to be recycled again. The material’s strength allows for clever construction from flat-cut pieces of panels. Assembly is easy – the elements are combined using the tongue and groove technique forming a solid structure. No additional fasteners are used, which reduces complexity and cost. This allows for recyclable and compact packaging with no plastic.
