Twin 4.0 Pendant

A two-tone diffuser of handblown Czech glass made up of two flattened spherical shapes in two colors which are melded together while hot on the glass blower’s pipe. The glass is held to a solid brass canopy by a brass band that sits at the “waist” between the two spheres. Each sphere is lit from within by its own bulb, one in each sphere. Suspended on two rigid brass tube stems from a canopy whose shape mimics the geometry of the pendant itself.

Suspension on twin brass stems

The Twin 4.0 Pendant is suspended on two rigid brass tube stems, a more formal look than the exposed fabric-covered electrical cords of the Twin 3.0 Pendant. While the Twin 4.0 Pendant is not able to accommodate sloped ceiling installations like the Twin 3.0 Pendant can, it offers a unique opportunity for the design to express its dual-nature inherent in the Twin collection. The Twin 4.0 pendant is another subtle variation within the Twin collection, offering yet more possibilities.
