Silhouette

More than the overall shape of this seating collection, what remains in mind is its profile, its figure, its shape, its shadow and its “silhouette”.

Unexpected, apparently antistatic, in an almost precarious balance due to the lack of physical and material contact between seat and backrest, the silhouette of “Silhouette” is moreover double, repeated in two different materials for the external and internal shell, a choice of saddle leather, wood or lacquered. This double repetition acts as an underlining, a reiterate of that slender profile where technologies and elegance meet in an overall lightness of the whole. Sinuous lines, a cross between the shapes of a boomerang and the silhouettes of bird wings reported on a sheet of paper in their essential geometry, almost as if they were Leonardesque traces.

On four fixed spokes in curved tubular or like on the steel stem of a floor lamp, they build a family that can be combined with collective places such as bars, restaurants, lounges, hotels, proposing highly elegant and modern solutions for almost flying, suspended seats.
