A one-colour bamboo silk rug made using the hand tufting technique.
The design represents an abstract labyrinth with bas-relief effects given by the workmanship of the bamboo silk.
The carpet is strong and has a signifificant weight, while at the same time being very soft and smooth to the touch.
Concept
Thanks to the use of artisanal looms with a millenary tradition, distinctly contemporary carpets are created that play on the power of graphic motifs. Sataria reinterprets the theme of the labyrinth through the processing of the fibres to create a bas-relief effect.
