A unique design.

Sylvain Willenz’s chair takes its name from its Body-like silhouette. A comprehensive seating program whose single wooden shell can incorporate various types of leg, and countless options for customization, this is our most versatile chair to date.

Now, we add a new dimension with a lacquered metal sled leg. This version can be joined with an ingenious connector, and stacked for storage, making it ideal for auditoriums.

Optionally, a writing tablet can be incorporated, made of ash veneered marine board, which can be folded away when not in use. Both the tablet and the wooden shell are supplied stained in the same colour, while the metal legs can be lacquered in any of our colours or in RAL Classic.

The moulded plywood shell is so durable that it is included in our industry leading 10 year warranty. Its natural ash wood veneer’s water-based stain is more environmentally friendly, highlighting the chair’s curves and natural the grain of the wood.

Alternatively, the chair offers various upholstery options. The shell can have a removable quilted cover fitted, leaving the wooden back visible, be completely upholstered and there is even an option to upholster the legs.

Other leg options include wood, metal, and also a base with wheels. Metal arms can be attached to seats with 4 wooden or metal legs.

A trolley has been developed for storing the chairs once stacked, for both sled bases or chairs with 4 metal legs.

From a single, anthropomorphic shell, Body offers a wide range of design solutions, characterized by a design of organic, soft, and simple lines. With these customization options, Body becomes not only a functional piece of furniture but also a versatile and adaptable tool for dynamic and collaborative work environments.
