Rustica®Basis | Knotty Pine

To create the RUSTICA® BASIS, selected noble woods are assembled together with a ‘plank finish’. This underscores the wood’s natural qualities. In combination with the various surface treatments and structures, these features can be further enhanced to create both subtle and striking effects. On request, irregular characteristics typical to wood, such as knots and splits, can be pre-filled.

All noble woods in classic and rustic styles can be processed in this way, but on-trend materials today include wild oak with knots, cracked knots, oak timber, reclaimed historical timber from oak, larch and spruce, and even spectacular oak from the Venetian Lagoon.
