Concept
PIER is a teak garden table, as essential as fascinating. The table top is composed of a series of wooden slats, slightly distanced like the keys of a piano to make us imagine an infinite continuous surface running in the outside landscape. Instead, suddenly, they veer vertically and become the legs of the table. Responsible in the past for the art direction of Artemide (glass collection), Cappellini (from 1979 to 1989), Fontana Arte (furniture collection), Foscarini (lamps), Minotti (from 1998 until today) and Roda, he designs for various companies, including: Artemide, Cappellini, Cassina, Dornbracht, Driade, Emu, Ernestomeda, Fiam Italia, Flos, Flou, Fontana Arte, Foscarini, Jab, MatteoGrassi, Minotti, Molteni & C., Moroso, Olivari, Pamar, Roda, RB Rossana, Sambonet, Serralunga, The Rug Company, Venini. Dordoni Architetti, founded in association with architects Alessandro Acerbi and Luca Zaniboni, deals with architectural planning and interior design, developing projects for houses, residential complexes, industrial and commercial areas such as offices, stores and showrooms, restaurants, hotels, yachts, as well as exhibit stands of diverse commercial fields.
